Executive Home Care is seeking a top-notch, compassionate, and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide live-in care for a husband and wife in a private home.

We are looking for a dependable caregiver who is bilingual in Spanish and English , has strong senior-care experience, and takes pride in providing respectful, attentive, and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes, concerns, or unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful and appropriate activities.
• Support clients with their daily routines while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.
• Accurately document care provided and maintain required client records.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification required.
• Fluent in Spanish and English – required.
• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or private-duty caregiving preferred.
• Experience with memory care and dementia care is a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Reliable, responsible, and professional.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when documenting client care.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable providing care to two clients (husband and wife) in a live-in setting.
