Nurse AssistantReports To: Nurse LeaderJob Goal: To assist the Nurse Leader in implementing school district health policies and procedures and assist school health services under the direct supervision of the building Registered Nurses and/or Registered Nurse Leader.Performance Responsibilities:Assist the School Nurses with the daily operation of the Health Office including but not limited to:Communication with staff, students and parentsVital SignsMaintenance of the Electronic Health RecordsAssistance with Health ScreeningsMinor First Aid under the supervision of the RNAssisting students to and from the Nursing OfficeOther tasks assigned by the School NursesLanguage Skills:Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, policies, instructions, correspondence, and procedures.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively to employees, students, and the general public.
