Night Production Associate

8pm- 8am rotating shift. 2-2-3 schedule $21 for night shift. Will work every other weekend. Responsible for safely starting up and shutting down of line. Match the job order to print on the pipe and ensure that it is printing correctly (includes color, strip, tape, and print). Visually inspect the pipe being produced and make sure that it is straight on the reel. Make sure footage is correct on reel, that it is tied down correctly. Perform visual inspection throughout process. Keep area clean of debris and orderly and keep eye out for potential safety hazards. Clearly understand and follow safety protocol for running line. Run pelletizer machine as needed. Safely operate grinding machine, set up auto pullers, adjust controls to start/stop machine. Handle material, refill bins, move material around facility, ensure line is stocked adequately. Cross trained to learn necessary duties on line or in department. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements and qualifications:

• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift and manipulate pipe - up to 100 pounds.

education AND experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

The employee will regularly lift, pull, and push 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, pull up to 100 pounds. This job requires the employee to be able to stand and walk on a hard surface for 11-12 hours per shift. Occasional stair climbing is also required. The employee must demonstrate the ability to meet these physical demands within their 90-day probationary period.
