Product Manager

Position at JBS USA

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Product Manager for JBS Beef USA that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and understand the current product portfolio to identify performance gaps and areas to improve profitability.
• Develop action plans to address product mix gaps and collaborate with sales, operations, and pricing to achieve results.
• Make recommendations on product discontinuation or modifications based on profitability, market demand, and operational input.
• Develop and manage breakeven pricing on items that require further processing.
• Collect and analyze data related to sales, revenue, and profitability to identify trends and patterns.
• Construct and maintain methods of analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and other software applications as needed.
• Facilitate the development of new products by coordinating with other business units to determine feasibility and see the project through to launch.
• Manage the New Product Request process from submission to prioritization and completion.
• Work closely with the plants to fulfill sample requests.
• Develop relationships with plant production managers to create a dialogue regarding product mix performance.
• Monitor product mix performance to ensure completion of goals.
• Present findings, recommendations, and performance to senior management and other relevant stakeholders in the business.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, such as Economics, Business, Marketing, or Meat Science.
• 24 years of hands-on experience in an analytical environment required.
• Experience with projects and process improvement initiatives preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand broader business objectives.
• Meat industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and planning abilities.
• Ability to think like a business owner and understand the decision-making process.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources and synthesize information into tools, insights, and decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction or supervision.
• Adaptable and able to quickly absorb new concepts and situations.
• Strong team player with solid collaboration skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, databases, and reporting.
• Ability to implement and manage routines.
• General understanding of reporting tools and concepts.
• Understanding of pricing and revenue optimization principles.
• Desired technical skills/areas of expertise include pricing and revenue management, business analysis, project management, and process improvement.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $90,000-$100,000 ;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company's good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
