Float Patient Care TechnicianDaVita is seeking a Float Patient Care Technician who is looking to make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.Some details about this position:3+ years of health care experience in a clinical/hospital environment is required - Dialysis experience is strongly preferred.Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.Comfortable floating across 14 clinical locations within the Greater Indianapolis area.You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - shift times will start as early as 4:00AM; no overnight scheduling, no Sundays.What you can expect:Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Educate patient on kidney disease.Technician Duties: To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.Working on a cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership.
