Forklift Operator/Warehouse

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate forklifts, walkie riders, and tugs to move materials efficiently throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Strong teamwork and a positive attitude are essential for success in this position.

Shifts & Pay:
• 1st Shift: Monday– Friday | 8: 00 AM – 4: 30 PM | $16.00/hr.
• 2nd Shift: Monday– Friday | 4: 00 PM – 12: 30 AM | $18.50/hr.
• 3rd Shift: Sunday– Thursday | 12: 00 AM – 8: 30 AM | $18.50/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts, walkie riders, and tugs to move materials to designated departments and areas.
• Wear required safety equipment and follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Read and follow daily production schedules to ensure proper material flow.
• Load, unload, and transport materials between production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Sort and stage materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Count and verify inventory and report discrepancies to supervisors or inventory staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production areas.
• Label and mark materials using appropriate identification methods.
• Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy for distribution and shipment.
• Perform basic computer functions to track inventory and material movement.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production and shipping demands.

Qualifications:
• Previous forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required in a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
