RF Signal Processing Engineer

Staff RF Signal Processing Engineer (US Citizens Only) We will need you to step into a forward thinking organization, to focus on the development of advanced RF and radar signal processing capabilities supporting next-generation spaceborne sensing and Earth observation platforms. This role will lead algorithm development and system optimization across radar payloads, enabling high-performance sensing, image formation, detection, and data exploitation from space-based RF systems. You will work at the intersection of RF engineering, signal processing, software, and mission systems to deliver scalable sensing capabilities for commercial and government applications. Key Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of advanced RF and signal processing algorithms for radar and remote sensing systems. Develop processing pipelines across detection, estimation, filtering, image formation, calibration, and target characterization. Drive algorithm performance optimization for embedded, edge, and cloud-based compute environments. Support end-to-end development from payload architecture through mission deployment and on-orbit performance analysis. Partner with RF, systems, software, payload, and mission engineering teams to define technical requirements and interfaces. Perform modeling, simulation, validation, and performance characterization of radar and RF sensing systems. Contribute to technical roadmap development and mentor engineers across the organization. Preferred Qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline. 8+ years of experience in RF signal processing, radar systems, remote sensing, or communications. Strong expertise in: Digital signal processing (DSP) RF and microwave fundamentals Radar signal processing Detection and estimation theory MATLAB, Python, C/C++ Algorithm development and simulation Experience with SAR, imaging radar, space systems, or Earth observation platforms preferred. Familiarity with hardware/software integration and mission-critical sensing environments. Ideal Profile Deep technical ownership and systems-level thinking. Comfortable operating across ambiguity and rapid development cycles. Passion for building world-class sensing capabilities from orbit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
