Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois. This acute care position involves providing specialized nursing care on a high-risk cardiology unit. The role encompasses managing cardiac drips, sheath pulls, central line care, and postoperative cardiac surgery patients, with a focus on adult patient populations. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the appropriate state, ACLS and BLS certifications, 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry nursing, experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, central line management, and postoperative cardiac care. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac catheterization, TAVR patients, and post-CABG patients. Responsibilities: Managing patients with cardiac conditions including high-risk cardiology cases, administering cardiac drips without titration, performing sheath pulls, central line care, interpreting dysrhythmias, and responding to patient needs within adult cardiac units. Additional Information: Must be flexible to float within scope to support various patient units if needed. No local candidates within 75 miles; compliance and certification requirements apply as per facility standards.
