Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• Assist in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel
• Prepare operating rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain sterile environment during surgical procedures
• Ensure the correct functioning of surgical equipment and instruments
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and pass necessary instruments or supplies

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• Minimum 6 months experience as a CST
• BLS, NBSTA, and DORA Certifications must be active
