Tax Manager – Renewable Energy (Solar + Storage) A growth-stage IPP is hiring a Tax Manager to lead its tax function across a national portfolio of solar and storage projects. The business develops, owns, and finances distributed generation and community solar assets, with exposure to emerging U.S. markets. This is a commercially embedded role — not a pure compliance position. You’ll work alongside project finance, legal, development, and accounting teams on structuring, tax credit strategy, and execution. Responsibilities Oversee tax compliance via external advisors (federal, state, partnership, S&U, property tax) Review filings and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Lead tax input on project structuring, including ITC monetization and tax equity Support Section 48 / 48E credit strategy (PWA, FEOC, basis, eligibility) Manage ITC insurance processes, diligence, and documentation Partner with development and finance teams across the project lifecycle Contribute to corporate tax planning and cross-border matters (incl. Canada) Monitor regulatory changes impacting renewable energy tax Requirements 4–8 years’ experience in tax (public accounting background preferred) Direct experience in renewable energy / solar required Working knowledge of Section 48 / 48E credits, PWA, FEOC, and credit monetization Experience with partnership taxation and multi‑state tax considerations CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred This role suits someone who wants to move beyond compliance into deal‑facing tax work within a project‑driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr talisman
