Nursing Administration_3 Bargaining Unit: NH- SEIU-1199 Work Shift: Night Work Days: ALTERNATE WEEKENDS, ROTATING SCHEDULE Scheduled Hours: 40 Hourly Rate/Range: $21.81 / $22.57 For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors. The Patient Safety Attendant is responsible for observing and providing in room observation to assigned patient(s) under direction of the Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the Patient Care Associates. Provides assistance to meet personal hygiene and grooming needs. Provides assistance with the nutritional needs of the patients, including feeding, mealtime assistance/set-up, supplying fluids, refilling water pitchers and delivering supplemental/bedtime snacks. Lifts, moves, turns and transports patients out of bed, chair, stretcher, wheelchair, portable mechanical lift, etc, maintaining proper body mechanics. Documents observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition to the Registered Nurse. Observe patient for signs of suicidal disposition and call for help immediately.
