ICU Nurse

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float/Flex Team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, performing critical assessments, skilled procedures, and implementing patient care plans. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to ensure appropriate patient care is provided in a cost effective, quality driven, and patient focused manner. Collects pertinent social, psychological, developmental and spiritual data from the patient, significant others and other health care team members. Perform ongoing assessment, formulate nursing diagnosis and goals, plan appropriate interventions, and evaluate the outcome of the interventions. Consistently document in the patient and unit records according to written health system standards of care to meet legal and quality patient care requirements. Provide appropriate teaching and information to patients and families including information on Pain Management, Nutrition, Skin Integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, Disease Process, Smoking Cessation, and Discharge instructions. Demonstrate commitment to the goals and values of the patient, Hospital, community and nursing profession through cost containment measures, maintaining confidentiality, appropriate ethical decision‑making, and ensuring patient safety. Use interventions substantiated by research as appropriate in the patient population, participate in research activities, identify opportunities for research, and collaborate with the Outcomes managers and department. Job Requirements Required Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire Associate Of Nursing At least one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire and Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months Preferred Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire Pay Range $42.00 - $42.00 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
