Role Overview

The Medical Director, Medical Affairs provides medical management and professional medical support for clinical research projects as the assigned Medical Monitor (MM).

Responsibilities

  • Medically manage clinical trials as MM
  • Serve as Global Lead MM (GLMM) for pan‑regional or global trials assigned
  • Collaborate with Medical & Safety teams to process Serious Adverse Events (SAEs)
  • Provide therapeutic and protocol‑specific training to project teams
  • Contribute medical input into the design of clinical development programs, study protocols, research papers, client‑focused white papers, etc.
  • Provide after‑hours medical support for assigned projects

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution of Medical Education
  • At least 2 years of medical monitoring in clinical research or related industry
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid passport and ability to travel as required

Compensation

Salary range: US$134,500.00 – US$267,500.00 annually. Base salary will be based on experience, performance, and equity, with a competitive benefits package dependent on location.
