What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and maintain accurate access logs and other security-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations by observing site activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders for a logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
