Suntrup Buick GMC is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department and help drive continued growth, employee development, and exceptional customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage all day-to-day service department operations
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top-performing service advisors and technicians
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and service department profitability
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor sales, effective labor rate, technician productivity, and CSI scores
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for every customer
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty procedures, and dealership standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with Parts, Sales, and Executive Leadership to achieve dealership objectives
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive service management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer relations skills
- Proven track record of improving departmental performance and profitability
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with dealership management systems and service department processes
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
