About the Position

Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of cath lab, procedural, or sedation experience Description: Provide assessment, monitoring, and intervention for cardiac procedures. Perform left and right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart procedures, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS. Serve as a member of the Emergency On Call Team. Administer oral and intravenous medication to patients. Manage patients under sedation and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and their families regarding surgical site care, lifestyle, medications, and postoperative information. Manage paperwork, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results, and procedure documentation. Collaborate with other medical staff as needed.
