Job Title: 1st & 2nd Shift Production Associate CAN START ASAP
Job Description
As a Truss Builder, you operate production line equipment, assemble large wooden trusses from detailed production diagrams, finish building materials to specification, and inspect completed products to ensure quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment safely and efficiently to build wooden trusses.
• Read and interpret production diagrams to assemble trusses according to exact specifications.
• Use hand tools and tape measures to cut, position, and secure lumber accurately.
• Perform woodworking tasks such as cutting, sanding, framing, and finishing materials.
• Inspect finished trusses and building materials to verify quality, measurements, and structural integrity.
• Work collaboratively in group settings to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Report any equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of woodworking experience.
• At least 1 year of experience using hand tools.
• At least 1 year of experience using a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read and follow production diagrams and basic construction plans.
• Basic construction and framing knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in woodworking is highly beneficial.
• Experience in construction, production, framing, sanding, or similar hands-on roles.
• Comfort working with wood and related materials in a manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large woodworking manufacturing shop where you work in groups to build trusses. The environment is production-focused, with active use of woodworking tools and equipment throughout the day. You can wear a t-shirt and shorts, but must wear steel-toe footwear and protective eyewear for safety. The position offers one shift: 2nd Shift 4pm-2am M-F, extra OT is available on Saturday and Sunday if you want it. 1

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
