Job Title: Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift/ Weekend Shift

Overview Summary

Summit Staffing is seeking an experienced Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations at a busy distribution center in Wilmer, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely operating stand-up reach forklifts, moving and storing products, and retrieving inventory from high-level rack systems. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience operating Crown or Raymond stand-up reach forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment.

Job Details

• Location: Wilmer, Texas 75172
• Type: Full-Time | TTH
• Pay: $19.50/hour
• Candidates may initially train Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Schedule: Saturday- Wednesday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Stand-up forklift CROWN experience required!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach forklifts throughout the distribution center.
• Navigate narrow warehouse aisles and high-level rack systems.
• Retrieve, move, and put away products throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, and move pallets and merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Operate Crown and Raymond stand-up reach forklifts.
• Operate cherry pickers as needed.
• Perform daily equipment and safety checks.
• Maintain accurate product placement and inventory movement.
• Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience operating a stand-up reach forklift is required.
• Experience operating Crown and/or Raymond stand-up reach forklifts.
• Experience operating cherry pickers.
• Experience working in high-rack warehouse environments.
• Comfortable operating equipment in narrow warehouse aisles.
• Ability to safely retrieve and place products at elevated rack locations, including racks approximately 6–9 levels high.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Required Qualifications

• Previous stand-up reach forklift experience.
• High-rack warehouse experience.
• Ability to safely operate equipment at elevated heights.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Wilmer/South Dallas area.
• Must be local to the Wilmer/South Dallas area.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be available to work the full Monday–Friday 2nd shift.
• Important: Sit-down forklift experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position. Candidates must be experienced and comfortable operating a stand-up reach forklift in a high-volume warehouse environment.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, high-volume distribution center.
• Narrow warehouse aisles and high-level storage racks.
• Frequent operation of stand-up reach forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Products may be stored at elevated rack locations approximately 6–9 levels high.
• Monday–Friday 2nd shift schedule.
