Maintenance Technician II

Electrical and Mechanical Systems TechnicianThis position will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. They will also be doing preventative maintenance to maintain and keeping them in a safe and working order.Responsibilities IncludeSolving the most complex problemsFixing machines on the manufacturing floor (identifying problem, finding solution, executing)Troubleshooting problems with machinesWorking with CNC ControlsReading and understanding Electrical SchematicsReading and understanding Mechanical DrawingsPerforming equipment preventative maintenanceRepairing mechanical problemsWiring the most complex electrical systemsAssessing projects and creating material listsInstalling raceways (conduit bending, wire ways, etc.) with applicable code knowledgeInstalling multi-phase 120v/240v/480v equipment and installationInstalling complicated circuits and automotive wire schematicsDemonstrating knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)Ability to adhere to written and verbal instructionsDirect work of other maintenance staff if assigned by Facility ManagerData entry into maintenance database if neededFlexibility and versatility to assume other dutiesAny additional items as assigned by managerPrinciple Contacts Inside/Outside the CompanyThis position will be interacting with maintenance personnel, manufacturing engineers, management, and other company employees to address issues.Competency or Position RequirementsMust be trustworthy and maintain the security of the facilityMust be an effective communicatorMust be detail orientedThe ability to follow instructions, work well with others and also aloneDriver's LicenseAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution OrientedDriven by IntegrityEducation and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent5 years of experience in a Mechanical/Electrical tradeCertificates for Commercial/Industrial wiringEquipment UsedThis position will use a forklift, scissor lifts, Volt/Amp meters, Meg/Ohms meter, Computers and power tools. Working and Physical Conditions This position will be indoor and outdoor work; lifting sitting, climbing, walking will be required.
