Contract Registered Nurse
This contract registered nurse position offers up to $2,000 per week in a medical/surgical setting. You will provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts for orthopedic, telemetry, and general medicine patients. The role supports the organization's goal of delivering high-quality, efficient nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort for orthopedic, telemetry, and general medicine patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition, utilizing telemetry systems effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document all nursing activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing care needs and post-discharge instructions to promote recovery and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic surgery, telemetry, or general medicine
- Ability to work night shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong bedside manner
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
