Summary Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Prepare and present Seafood products within display cases to promote sales, and fulfill all Seafood special orders (e.g., shrimp platters) accurately while adhering to corporate and state sanitation regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards. Assist in the preparation and presentation of Seafood department products (e.g., prepare, price, stock, and maintain the seafood case). Perform sanitation duties, including cleaning dishes, food cases, and floors, according to corporate and state regulations. Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times. Ensure the accuracy of customer special orders (e.g., shrimp platters). Operate various seafood department equipment, such as product weight scales, ovens, and cleaning utensils. Learn and become proficient at setting the ice display to corporate standards. Perform suggestive selling, sampling, and PA announcements to promote sales. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Education and Experience Strong communication skills, basic literacy skills, satisfactory performance reviews, and basic computer skills. Physical Requirements Perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods, as required by the role.
