Our client is seeking a Data Platform Architect to design and lead a modern enterprise data platform that powers critical business decisions across hundreds of locations. This is a unique opportunity to blend architecture, hands-on development, AI innovation, and executive collaboration while building systems at a significant scale.

Compensation

$115,000 - $140,000 base salary + bonus eligible

What You'll Be Doing

Define and lead the target-state architecture for enterprise data platforms
Design data ingestion, storage, modeling, governance, and serving solutions
Build and support event-driven systems utilizing APIs, CDC, messaging platforms, and Kubernetes
Drive AI-assisted engineering and development automation initiatives
Establish data quality standards, governance, and security controls
Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams
Translate business objectives into scalable technical roadmaps

What You'll Need to be Considered

Strong expertise with SQL Server, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, and T-SQL
Experience with ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar columnar platforms
Production-level development experience in Python and/or Go
Experience designing event-driven architectures utilizing REST, Kafka, NATS, or CDC
Experience operating workloads within Kubernetes environments
Ability to drive AI-assisted engineering initiatives and platform strategy
