Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Day-to-day:

Day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the payroll cycle. The majority of time will be spent preparing and processing payroll, completing miscellaneous payroll-related tasks, and ensuring timecards are submitted and approved on time. This resource will also assist with a physician tax withholding project. Payroll runs bi-weekly for approximately 700 employees.

Skills and Requirements

HRIS experience (Paycom, Dayforce, Workday, or Lawson strongly preferred)

401(k) administration experience

Audit experience

Billing and invoicing experience

Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Accounts Payable (AP) billing experience

Payroll certifications

Healthcare industry experience
