Assistant Project Manager - Chicago - Commercial General Contractor

GH Engage have partnered with an elite Chicago-based General Contractor to find them a hungry assistant project manager. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-known firm in the region and work on a host of commercial projects (both tenant improvements and ground-up.) This is a great option for an early-career CM grad looking to progress quickly and become a well-rounded PM.

The Mission:

• Support the PM through buyout, construction and closeout on live commercial projects
• Prepare, issue and track subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders
• Manage submittals, RFIs and document control
• Help maintain project schedules with the PM and superintendent, tracking look-aheads and procurement dates
• Track budgets, cost reports and monthly pay applications

You'll need:

• Ideally a Construction Management degree or commercial construction experience.
• Experience on commercial xhyhwjd projects would be highly valued
• Ability to commute to the West Chicago office
