The Secretary of the Senates Senate Security Office is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst . The complete vacancy announcement and application may be found on the United States Senate Career Page at This is highly analytical and programmatic work supporting the Office of Senate Securitys (OSS) efforts to identify assess and mitigate foreign intelligence counterintelligence insider threat and other security risks affecting the United States Senate community. The Threat Intelligence Analyst serves as the primary resource for threat analysis defensive counterintelligence awareness and security education initiatives supporting both cleared and uncleared Senate position is responsible for developing coordinating and delivering threat assessments defensive security briefings awareness products and engagement programs for Senators Senate staff committees and the broader Senate community. The role also leads the development of a structured security awareness and counterintelligence outreach program for OSS ensuring timely dissemination of relevant threat information through coordination with internal stakeholders and the Intelligence Community and federal security partners. The Theat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for gathering products and producing analysis on intelligence priorities and Senate equities as identified by Senate Security requires independent judgment discretion in handling sensitive or classified information and the ability to translate complex intelligence and security issues into clear actionable guidance for a diverse audience. For conditions of employment and citizenship requirements please visit the job announcement on the United States Senate Career Page at DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office environment and requires the use of normal safety precautions to avoid everyday risks and discomforts. Work requires frequent walking standing bending and carrying items up to 25 pounds as well as regular use of typical office equipment software programs and methods of communication such as a computer email telephone and photocopier. Regular predictable and punctual attendance is required for performance of duties. Work also requires physical presence in the office except as otherwise required by the Office of the Secretary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Work requires a bachelors degree in intelligence studies international relations political science criminal justice or a related field with three or more years of progressive experience in intelligence analysis counterintelligence threat analysis security operations protective intelligence or related national security fields and the following knowledge skills and abilities:

Demonstrated experience producing written analytical products and delivering briefings to senior-level audiences.

Knowledge of foreign intelligence threats counterintelligence principles insider threat indicators cybersecurity risks and/or hostile foreign influence activities.

Experience working with or alongside elements of the Intelligence Community Department of War federal law enforcement or other national security organizations.

Demonstrated success in managing competing priorities with minimal supervision combined with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to brief and interact professionally with Senators Senate Leadership senior staff executive branch officials and other high-level stakeholders using tact and diplomacy.

Ability to communicate complex threat and security information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Excellent judgment professional demeanor discretion and flexibility in handling sensitive or classified information.

Experience supporting or developing security awareness defensive counterintelligence or training programs is highly desirable.

Knowledge of the Senate as an institution is preferred with a desire and willingness to learn more about the legislative process and Senate operations.

Skill in organizing and maintaining schedules.

Ability to remain apolitical as a non-partisan staffer and treat Senators and staff from any party with respect and impartiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience developing or managing security awareness and defensive counterintelligence programs.

Experience briefing senior government officials or executive leadership audiences.

LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS United States citizenship.

Eligible Top Secret clearance required Active TS//SCI preferred. Education
