Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is needed in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves performing technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. The role requires independent work across diverse patient populations and multiple locations within the facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential to work from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM based on operational needs. No weekends or call required.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or ARMRIT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification, graduation from a School of Radiologic Technology, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Two years of clinical experience in MRI are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, GE imaging equipment within the past 18-24 months, and proficiency in performing specific MRI procedures such as abdominal MRA, brain, breast, cervical, and vascular imaging.
• Additional Information: The position entails working independently with various patient age groups, maintaining equipment, participating in quality assurance, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Prior experience with advanced MRI procedures and specialized exams like PE pulmonary embolism MRA is preferred if working evenings or weekends. The assignment involves passing a strict pass/fail telemetry and cardiac interpretation exam with two attempts allowed.
