AP/CP Pathologist

Job Title: Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist – Surgical Pathology Focus Location: Northeast United States Overview A well-established, Great Place to Work certified pathology practice invites applications for a full-time AP/CP pathologist. Key Responsibilities Examine and interpret tissue sections, body fluids, and secretions using light, electron, and fluorescence microscopy Diagnose disease from tissue, fluid, and other specimens and provide written pathology reports to treating physicians Consult with referring physicians on test ordering, interpretation, and clinical management Perform gross examination, dissection, and description of specimens Participate in intradepartmental meetings, proficiency testing, and quality improvement initiatives Contribute to education of laboratory personnel, students, and residents as applicable Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable state and federal regulations Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed Candidate Qualifications Required: MD or DO with completion of an approved AP or AP/CP residency BC/BE by the American Board of Pathology or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology Eligibility for applicable state medical licensure(s) Successful completion of pre-employment visual color discrimination testing Community & Location Highlights Beautiful suburban community with outstanding schools and strong quality of life Proximity to NYC with access to world-class dining, culture, and entertainment Easy access to outdoor recreation, historic sites, and travel hubs Family-friendly neighborhoods with a strong sense of community Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $300,000–$400,000, commensurate with experience and subspecialty training Geographic differentials may apply Comprehensive benefits package Interested?
