Job Summary:

Performs and assists with Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations within the Cath Lab/EP specialty. Operates advanced imaging equipment during interventional procedures to support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in the cardiovascular system.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and blood vessels.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angiograms.
  
  
• 
  Position and immobilize patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Educate and instruct patients before examinations, ensuring comfort and compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Mentor and train staff on technical skills, promoting continuous professional development.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ARRT certification in radiologic technology; licensure as a Radiologic Tech in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of three years of relevant technical experience, including recent work in the field.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  
  
• 
  Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with fluoroscopy (FLUORO) and possess facility-specific licenses and certifications.
