Quality Nuclear Medicine TechnologistMid Michigan Diagnostics is seeking a quality Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part time, day shift position. You will be performing cardiology imaging procedures and providing quality images to the cardiologist for interpretation.Responsibilities:Explaining procedures, addressing patient anxieties, and monitoring the physical well being during testing.Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.Ordering, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.Calculating and mixing precise doses of radioactive tracers for patients.Operating radiation-detecting cameras, processing digital images and providing data to cardiologists for interpretation.Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff and the environment.Requirements:Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine Experience.Nuclear Medicine Credentialed NMTCB or ARRT Boards.BLS Certified.Experience with Digirad Cardius 2XPO preferred.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
