Description: Must have previous IR/Cath lab experience, moderate sedation experience.

Certifications: BLS

Unit Information: Interventional Radiology

Number of Beds: 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)

Number of Staff: 15 techs currently plus manager and Data/Quality Analyst; nursing support for each room as well.

Type of staff: Day Shift 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room; Night Shift 1 tech and 1 RN onsite

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Type of equipment: single plane = GE; biplane = Philips. Also have one Invasive CT scanner in the department.

EMR: Cerner (Radnet)

Typical hiring profile: Skill Set: Must have: Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate); Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate). Preferred or nice to have: Vascular OR experience; Cath Lab experience; VI Registered

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases; Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any): Every 7th weekend; One night secondary call during the week
