Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Corsicana, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:30 AM - 11:30 PMTue10:30 AM - 11:30 PMWed10:30 AM - 05:00 PMSun10:30 AM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific requirements, and complete accurate incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
