As Hospital Manager, you will serve as the operational and cultural leader of the hospital, partnering with our medical team to foster engagement, accountability, and excellence in patient care. We are looking for someone who leads with empathy while confidently making decisions, addressing challenges, and driving meaningful results. What You'll Do: Lead and Develop People Inspire, coach, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential Foster a culture of accountability, trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement Build strong relationships through consistent communication and servant leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing team members Proactively manage performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Create an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow Drive Hospital Performance Lead day-to-day hospital operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care Monitor key performance indicators and drive sustainable improvements Manage hospital budgets, P&L performance, inventory, payroll, and staffing Identify challenges and implement solutions that improve operational effectiveness Promote a client-focused culture that enhances patient care and customer satisfaction Partner with the Medical Team Collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians to support medical excellence Align operational goals with patient care objectives Help implement hospital initiatives and ensure successful execution Foster a collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented environment What We’re Looking For: An Influential Leader Veterinary industry experience required; hospital leadership experience strongly preferred Proven success leading, coaching, and developing teams Demonstrated ability to inspire others, gain buy-in, and drive positive change Strong emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution skills Ability to make difficult decisions with confidence, fairness, and professionalism A natural leader who leads by example and builds trust through actions Business & Operational Expertise Experience managing P&L performance and key business metrics Strong understanding of staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization Ability to balance financial performance with employee engagement and client satisfaction Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment Culture Builder Passion for developing people and strengthening teams Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture Dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients, patients, and team members Desire to leave a lasting impact on the hospital and community Why You’ll Love Working at Duval Animal Hospital: At Duval Animal Hospital, leadership matters.
