Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in SEDALIA, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verify credentials as required, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or operational concerns.
• Support security-related operations in a food and beverage environment by observing production, warehouse, and shipping and/or receiving areas for irregular activity and communicating issues according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
