Dental Front Desk Coordinator

929 W Sunset Blvd, Suite 15, St. George, UT 84770 Sunset Dental is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Dental Treatment Coordinator / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a permanent position in a supportive, fast-paced dental office where providing an exceptional patient experience is our top priority. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, excels at communication, and is confident discussing treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements. The ideal candidate will help ensure patients have a seamless experience from check-in to treatment acceptance. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in/out patients with a welcoming and professional demeanor Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Present treatment plans and help patients understand recommended care Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage and financial responsibilities Discuss treatment estimates, payment options, and financing solutions Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help patients move forward with needed care Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain accurate patient records and chart updates Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and patient care Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to a positive office culture Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience working in a dental office (required) Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills Comfortable discussing treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Patient Coordinator, or Dental Front Desk Coordinator Experience with dental insurance verification and claims processing Familiarity with dental practice management software Strong understanding of dental terminology and common treatment procedures Practice Hours Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM About Sunset Dental Sunset Dental is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care in a welcoming environment.
