Unit: Stepdown / Intermediate Care Unit (PCU)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Schedule: 3 or 4 × 12-hour shifts (36 or 48 hours/week)
• Contract Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: None

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced assessment between ICU and medical-surgical levels of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, administer medications, and support patients throughout their recovery.
• Utilize Cerner EMR while following Ascension's evidence-based nursing standards and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Active RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Experience in Progressive Care/Stepdown or Intermediate Care preferred
