Speech Language Pathologist

This position requires a current certificate of clinical competence. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence‑based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation. Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients. Treat residents one on one through private treatment sessions with a functional‑based treatment approach. Individualize treatment sessions for each patient. Maintain a desirable Monday‑Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
