Position:  Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Louisville, KY(Mega Cavern)
Pay: $20.19/hr with quick advancement opportunities
Shift:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Overtime and some Saturdays as needed

Job Summary:
Snelling is seeking a  reliable Shipping/Receiving Clerk for a well-established manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment and be comfortable operating a forklift  throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Receive incoming deliveries and verify accuracy
• Maintain organized inventory and shipping/receiving documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, efficient warehouse environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work overtime as needed
• Comfortable working around heavy steel and industrial materials
• Excellent attendance and reliability

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience loading/unloading trucks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with shipping paperwork and inventory systems
