K-12 Substitute Nurse

On-call/as needed K-12 substitute nurses. Nurse substitutes are paid $240/day. Maine licensed R.N. Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval is required. See links below for more information.

Apply online and include: completed application, cover letter and resume, copies of all post secondary transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC). Once your completed application has been received and reviewed a brief interview with a district administrator will be scheduled prior to your becoming eligible to substitute with us. Interviews are typically scheduled between September and May, as time permits in the administrator's schedule.

Cape Elizabeth has three schools; Pond Cove Elementary School, grades K-4; Cape Elizabeth Middle School, grades 5-8; and, Cape Elizabeth High School, grades 9-12. All schools are located within easy walking distance of each other. Cape Elizabeth is a residential community located on the Atlantic Ocean three miles south of Portland, two hours north of Boston, and covers about 15 square miles. It has a population of 9,068 residents living in 3,200 households.
