IT Support Engineer

Location: Ambler, PA Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)

Seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support at client site (Ambler, PA). This individual will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations, including laptop provisioning, inventory management, and Level 1 support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laptop Imaging & Provisioning: Prepare and configure laptops for new hires and replacements using standard imaging tools and processes.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of laptop and IT equipment inventory.
• Shipping & Receiving: Handle logistics for incoming and outgoing IT equipment, ensuring timely delivery and receipt.
• Level 1 IT Support: Provide onsite technical assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Desk and IT onboarding/offboarding teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Familiarity with laptop imaging tools and asset management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
• Must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.
• Prior experience in onboarding/offboarding IT processes.
