Responsibilities Direct patient care under the direction, delegation, and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Document patient care given. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN. Maintain a positive professional relationship with patients, families, coworkers, and the health care team. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient or family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an approved school of nursing, be a third‑year student or higher, and graduate within 13 months of hire. Must be in good standing with the approved school of nursing and clinically competent to perform the duties described above. Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BCLS) required.
