Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an impactful role serving elementary students in a supportive educational setting near Tacoma, WA. This contract opportunity offers flexibility for onsite or virtual service delivery, working with a diverse caseload at Midland Elementary's Resource Room. You’ll help foster communication skills and confidence in 40–50 students, collaborating with educators and families to maximize student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State SLP license
• Completion of OSPI fingerprinting
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Your Role:

• Deliver assessment and therapy services for students with speech and language needs
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with the education team
• Track progress toward student goals and adjust interventions as necessary
• Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student growth
