Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry (TELE) is sought for a flexible float position within inpatient medical-surgical (MS) and telemetry units in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This position involves providing exceptional patient care across various units, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with scheduled orientation and flexible unit assignments.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Specialty: Telemetry (TELE)
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 2+ years of strong Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience; experience working in a resource pool or float environment; proficiency in EPIC Charting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry background and prior float pool experience.
• Additional Information: The nurse will remain at the designated facility but will rotate across all medical-surgical and telemetry units; float may be required to all MS/TEL units, including weekends as needed; no on-call requirements. Orientation sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays, totaling 24 hours (12 hours nonbillable).
• Submission Requirements: Updated resume, skills checklist completed within 12 months, one reference within 12 months, Illinois license verification.
