Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. 3:1 patient ratio. Highlights: Work in dual units: IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic, providing specialized care to acutely ill adult patients with multiple comorbidities 29-bed unit caring for specialty populations including Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post-lung transplant patients Academic Level I Trauma Center environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Epic EMR charting system 36-hour orientation provided Magnet-designated teaching facility consistently ranked as a top hospital in the nation Requirements: Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required BLS and ACLS (AHA only) certifications required Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required Telemetry oncology, cardiac experience required Ventilator and transplant experience required (strong proficiency essential) Previous travel experience required Academic Level I or II Trauma Center experience or similar size hospital required Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria applies) Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Must reside 50 miles or more from facility Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a team of remarkable nurses at a Magnet-designated academic medical center recognized as one of the nation's leading hospitals and teaching institutions.
