Food Service Worker

Reports To: Head Cook and Food Service Director

Job Goal: Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for students.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass physical.
• Fingerprinting is required.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Prepare and service required food material according to standard recipes, menus or verbal instruction.
• Operate cooking and kitchen equipment.
• Clean kitchen equipment. Keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Direct student helpers.
• Upon request, use computer software program in conjunction with the breakfast program for reporting purposes.
• Upon request, transport food to/from satellite kitchen.
• Perform related duties as requested and required for efficient operation of food service program.

• Salary: Per 24-25 PSE Salary Schedule
