You will play an essential role as either an EC resource/inclusion teacher or as a self-contained classroom teacher, specializing in working with students with significant Autism. Your expertise will drive growth and progress for those who need it most.

Qualifications:

• Active licensure/certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly supporting students with Autism
• Comfortable working in both resource/inclusion settings and self-contained classrooms
• Proficiency with Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System (ECATS)
• Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
• Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Utilize ECATS to document student progress and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment for students with significant Autism and other exceptionalities
• Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support as needed
• Promote social and academic growth for each student
