Financial Analyst

Entry-Level Financial Planning Support

This is an entry-level role focused on supporting core financial planning activities. This position builds foundational skills in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while contributing to the accuracy of financial data and insights.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and dashboards using standardized templates.
• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting processes by collecting and validating data inputs.
• Help track budget vs. actuals and flag discrepancies for review.
• Maintain documentation and templates for recurring reporting processes.
• Participate in financial system data entry and updates under supervision.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis requests from business partners.
• Learn and apply financial modeling techniques with guidance from senior analysts.
• Attends company training and local meetings in field

What You'll Bring to Zelis:

• Typically has a BA or 3-5 years of experience.
• Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and budgeting principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced finance environment.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
