Sales Trainee

The Sales Trainee will be enrolled in our 12-18 month sales training program to prepare and equip the associate with the knowledge and skills in learning the corrugated packaging industry to become a part of our successful Account Executive team. Duties and Responsbilities Tasks related to this position may vary and are not limited to those listed below: Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times Participate in a 12-18 month sales training program to prepare for a long-term position with BCI as an Account Executive or Customer Service Representative Meet or exceed the operating standards in the areas of sales and customer service. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the Account Executive Achieve in meeting or exceeding the developed professional goals set to and agreed upon between yourself and the manager Participate in advancing the business through new and innovative ideas Exhibit professional behavior at all times and treating others with respect Full-time role in an office setting Desired Skills and Behavioral Strengths: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong communication, interpersonal, listening and verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated and results-orientated individual who can work well both independently and within a team environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions and training and procedure manuals Ability to write reports and correspondence Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, percentages and volume Strong attention to detail Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required for Account Executive position. Two years outside selling or related experience – preferred, but not required Experience in the corrugated box industry – preferred, but not required Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation

• 28 - $30 an hour
• 58,000-$62,000 per year, quarterly bonuses
