What You'll Do

  • Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
  • Adapt your communication and care techniques to meet patient needs and privacy standards
  • Use the nursing process effectively for assessment, planning, and intervention
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and health management
  • Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (EPIC)
  • Ensure safety protocols and infection control standards are maintained at all times

What You Need

Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (12-month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute)
  • Proficiency in EPIC documentation and strong communication skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
  • Additional clinical specialty certifications
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
