We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Hygiene Coordinator to support and optimize hygiene schedules. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving scheduling challenges, and is driven by efficiency, communication, and results. What You’ll Do Own & Optimize Hygiene Schedules Manage hygiene schedules Adjust, reschedule, and maximize appointments daily Maintain 5% or less downtime and work toward full schedule utilization Keep Schedules Full & Patients Engaged Confirm all hygiene appointments using established protocols. Proactively fill openings using waitlists, ASAP lists, and unscheduled patient reports Respond to patient communication platforms Manage Same-Day Changes Monitor cancellations and reschedule requests in real time Apply cancellation protocols and minimize gaps Quickly fill last‑minute openings Drive Daily Schedule Performance Review all schedules each morning Ensure ins plans are updated in patient record Remove unconfirmed appointments by midday Continuously fill openings throughout the day Track and report daily hygiene availability Support Growth & Operations Assist with insurance verification and breakdowns / updating coverage table Help fill doctor‑side opportunities from unscheduled treatment lists Support patient communication and inbox management We are looking for someone who embodies: Positivity – You bring a can‑do attitude, stay flexible, and support your team to create a positive experience for patients and coworkers Self‑Motivation – You take ownership, act proactively, and look for ways to improve and add value without being asked Compassion – You communicate with empathy, kindness, and respect, always putting people first Excellence – You hold yourself to high standards, stay detail‑oriented, and consistently deliver strong results Ethical Integrity – You do what’s right—always—with honesty, accountability, and transparency What Success Looks Like Hygiene schedules consistently at 5% downtime or less High confirmation rates and minimal last‑minute gaps Fast response to schedule changes and patient communication Fully maximized hygiene opportunities What We’re Looking For Dental scheduling or administrative experience preferred Strong organization and multitasking skills Excellent communication (phone, text, and written) Comfortable working across multiple systems and tools Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency Team player with the ability to work independently BENEFITS Competitive Salaries Health Stipend, Dental Paid Holidays PTO Program 401K /401K match Professional Training & Development Opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
