Forklift Operator  
Location: Huntersville, NC
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on position (Warehouse or Production)
Available Shifts:  
Production:

• Monday – Thursday | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm  
• Monday – Thursday | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am  
• Day | 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm    
• Night | 2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am    

Warehouse:

• Friday – Sunday | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm  
• Friday – Sunday | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support shipping, receiving, and production operations at a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. Responsibilities include moving finished products, supplying production lines with materials, loading and unloading trailers, and accurately tracking inventory using scanners and computer systems.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move finished products from production lines to designated storage areas
• Supply production lines and equipment with the materials needed to maintain consistent workflow.
• Load and unload trailers while following proper handling and safety procedures.
• Maintain pallet wrappers and ensure an adequate supply of pallets and other necessary materials.
• Use scanners and computer systems to record, track, and report materials and finished goods.
• Assist for shipping, receiving, production, and other departments with material movement and warehouse tasks.
• Move bulk trash and recycling using a forklift as needed.
• Maintain forklift cleanliness and sanitation and report mechanical issues or equipment damage promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personal protective equipment (PPE), food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Complete and pass the required in-house forklift certification training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift operating experience required, preferably in manufacturing, production, shipping, or receiving.
• Demonstrated ability to safely move materials, handle finished goods, and load or unload trailers.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use scanners and navigate programs such as Excel, SAP, and email.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Understanding workplace safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track materials and finished goods.
• Consistent work history demonstrating reliability and dependability.    
• Must complete and pass the required in-house forklift certification.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities as required: stand, walk, bend, use hands and fingers.

Additional Work Schedule Information:

• Friday - Sunday shift employees are currently being offered the option to work an additional day on Monday. This is not a requirement.
